Welcome To Terra Foundation

The Terra Foundation welcomes you!  We are a small non-profit

foundation located in San Luis Obispo County, California. Supporting

and offering programs and retreats in Deep Ecology, Permaculture

Design, Eco-Art, Handicrafts, Herb Lore and Nature Awareness,

Terra invites you to become part of our community.

We live at a time of great challenge and great opportunity.  Terra is

a member of the growing network of groups and individuals who are connecting San Luis Obispo County

into a model of sustainable living for the Third Millenium. We support, promote and work together with other

locally-based organizations to address the challenges of local food production, clean renewable energy,

water conservation, peak oil, eco-centric education, and speaking up for democracy. All of these add up

to one thing: community!

In community, we know and feel our interdependence, our deep

connection to each other and Earth. And in our connection,

we build the invisible strands of the web of life - for ourselves

and for future generations.
